Taiko ensemble Kodo and composer Koshiro HINO spent one month on the small island of Sado to ****** music together. Toshiaki TOYODA captures this collaboration in a mesmerizingly edited work, complementing Kodo’s powerful performance with shots of the snow-clad nature surrounding them, with gods and spirits lurking everywhere.
