剧情简介

Otto, a young man from East-Frisia comes to the big **** (Hamburg) to make his fortune. Most of all he is engaged with two problems: How can he impress Silvia, a rich young girl, and where does he get 9876,50 DM to pay off a loan shark?

全片长达三小时半，剧情推进的节奏比较缓慢，战争动作场面也只是小零星地出现，娱乐性不算高。但导演奥托·普雷明格从多个角色的观点来探讨以色列在1948年建国初期的历史，仍不失其**意义。
